Ashley Sloggett is a singer-songwriter from Burlington, Ontario. “I was kicked out of a band for not being “Evanescence enough” and I didn’t make Canadian Idol because I wasn’t ‘poppy enough.’ I just don’t know what people want from me,” Ashley Sloggett released the Annum EP last year on Blacktop Records

BARRY TAYLOR

Barry Taylor was born in Hamilton and now calls Toronto home. Whether he's on stage telling jokes or on the couch dominating at Mario Kart, one thing is for certain: this guy makes girls horny. The chestnut-brown haired Pisces was recently added to the Underground Operations Roster and has 'Opening for Luba Goy' at the top of his list of goals.

BEAUTIFUL WOMAN OF BELMEZ

The Beautiful Woman of Belmez began in the suburbs of Thorold South in the summer of 2010. The band soon became a quartet--complete with accordion and upright percussion. As they grew, their music prospered in the sweaty basement of Twenty-Three Kent Street--which also provided a venue to showcase their songs to friends and bands around St. Catharines. They will be recording an EP at the end of August with producer Josh Korody, and will be hitting the Niagara region full-force with their gypsy powers.

BLACK MAJIK MOVEMENT

Black Majik Movement, an 8 piece Hip hop Band which originally started as just a Producer/DJ and an MC by the names of Sami "SOSA" Ali and Matt Orlando AKA DJ Math-majik, after years of rockin the hip-hop scene in the Niagara Region, they decided to put a band together in the summer of 2009 for Bridgestock. Since adding all of these elements and stepping outside the borders of Hip-hop, their buzz has the whole Music scene in the region making way for Black Majik.

CHAINSAW LOBOTOMY

Chainsaw Lobotomy crawled out of the filth of East-side Welland in fall of 2009 with their own blend of psychobilly blues-punk rock. After a vision quest through the bayous on the Mississippi Delta, they returned to bring their glorious musical creations to the listeners of Southern Ontario. Starting off small but quickly being approached to book shows with big name psychobilly and punk acts, Chainsaw Lobotomy continues to spread their disease through the population of Southern Ontario. Performing acts of unlicensed surgery on the minds of anyone that hears them, they will not stop until they have successfully lobotomized and created a legion of swampfolk to rule the Earth.

CHRISTOPHER JOSEPH

This represents a form of Spiritual Rock. As in transcending music to distant places from a room. It's not an excuse for not playing live. Once upon a time when a band named SUPER EFFECTIVE felt a little out of place. A new band was formed along with a member from face. Jeff and Kalon formed a punk rock band and along came Riles who rules the land. Yet not was all said and done until young Will Huffman became the one. DAM

DAM (standing for Miscreants Against Dyslexia) is a welland-based punk band that was conceived by the creative minds of Morgan & Elliot Tayti. Morgan dealing out the ingenious lyrics and grundgy vocals, while Elliot wrote the music to match the madness on his guitar as well as adding some vocals of his own. After playing a few shows for a few years to smaller crowds and a small hiatus, they stumbled upon a bass player named Cory Ryan. After a few jam sesh's they knew they made a great addition. Soon after they the trio would find themselves without a drummer and close friend Chucky Farrell was perfect to fill the shoes. Together they have opened for the likes of The Dwarves, Canadian punk legends D.O.A and soon Dayglo Abortions. Now, after adding new comer guitarist Devin Learn, DAM is more powerful than ever. Delivering dirty-ass punk with melody & style, and maintaining a stage presence like no other, DAM is ready to change the world of punk as we know it!

THE FILTHY RADICALS

The Filthy Radicals are a 4 piece Skacore, Ska Punk band which started playing together in the winter of 2005. The band is made up of members from stereotypically ignorant small towns from around the London and Orangeville areas. The band was made up from members of other bands like Public Erection, Cut Throat Jimmy and Get Down. Most of the lyrics are influenced by things that have either happened to us or about stuff that bugs us and that will most likely never change i.e selfish, greedy, closed minded wastes of skin who just won't stop breeding. Most of the music is heavily influenced by Street Punk and different forms of Ska/Punk bands.

HOWLER

Howler formed in June 2010. After a spontaneous jam session at a music festival Brittany and Nick soon realized that they wanted to make some tunes together. After a week of practising they played their first show with 4 original songs. Soon after this show they became very enthusiastic about the musical project and decided to record an EP of the songs. Howler is an up and coming band who are currently writing, performing and having an awesome time playing music for people.

I GOT THE GIRL

Originating from St. Catharines Ontario, this pop/punk band has already shared the stage with great bands like the Organ Thieves, sold out various venues and are currently recording their debut CD with ex Sum41 guitarist Dave 'Brownsound'. After a recent line-up change, I Got The Girl has a new feel and a new passion for music and are ready to take the world by storm. I Got The Girl lights up the stage with their energetic performances leaving the crowd wanting more. There recent involvement with the charitable organization Free The Children, I Got The Girl is about to embark on an Ontario high school tour to raise money and awareness for the effort.

JORDAN RAYCROFT

It was not until two Winters ago that Jordan started teaching himself the guitar to impress a girl. As that Winter turned into Spring, his skills had developed into a mere four chords. With a full Summer ahead of Jordan he began teaching himself the odd song here and there. However, it was in his dorm room that Fall, his first semester of University that he began to write songs. Looking back, his only explanation for these melodies and lyrics was an old boy's effort to remind himself of all he had learned within the last four years.

LA TUNES

These three ladies met in 2005 in the City of St. Catharines. After becoming a close group of friends, they started learning instruments and writing music together. They became mulit-talented musicians, playing whatever instruments or make-shift instruments they could get their hands on. The three now have plenty of experience on stage, from short gigs, to music festivals, and even providing the entertainment for an entire night at local venues. Their songs are inspired by events in their lives or daydreams in their minds. The passion and enjoyment of their music can clearly be seen while they perform, serving as an asset to their unique and relatable lyrics, as well as their catchy jazz-folk style.

THE SPOOKY SCARECROWS

While shuffling through the remnants of my second uncle's attic during a particularly gloomy Thanksgiving gathering in the early 90s, I stumbled across a box of old, dusty journals that had been hastily filled out. Many of them documented in intricate detail, a plot to assassinate the brash and extroverted entertainer, Al Jolson. The Spooky ScareCrows were formed in Southern Ontario in the Fall of 2006 because of an abundance of keyboards and the coming of Halloween.
